As soon as I checked out your Substack, I thought, I hope she finds this story about kindness because it's probably right up her alley. Glad you found it!
Yes but it's very difficult to write while laughing. I see a link to your Substack in my posting future. But if you steal my fans, it won't take an amateur detective to hunt you down... 🕵️♀️
Stories unfold in the strangest of places. Eating on a railcar that long ago jumped the tracks. Kindness is always the very best of hooks in any story. Great. As for the chili cheese whatever. Lived a short stint in Pittsburgh and chili and cheese was put on top of everything. If unfamiliar with the Pittsburgh scene, the food is all about putting everything together in one big pile. The Primanti Bros sandwich and the Steak Salad are similar in concept to the chili cheese topping on everything. Everyday is like eating at the Fair.
Cool! Thank you, Michael. “Once in a while you get shown the light, in the strangest of places if you look at it right."
Yes! Perfect quote!
Nothing like a kind Deadhead to go with your chili cheese fries. Play it forward.

There's an ice cream place near where I live that's in a train caboose.
How's the ice cream?
Pretty good.
Thinking about LA hot dog spots. Did you ever go to Skooby’s? Those dogs had a great snap and a nice house sauce.
I've never been to Skooby's. Am I too late?
Sadly, yes. But there are lots of great hot dogs out there! The best of which is Ted’s Hot Dogs from my hometown.
Waiting for part 2 of this amazing saga….
Part two is when all three of us get heartburn and head to CVS for some pepto. 😁
WIN!!!!

I’m usually not a fan of chili cheese fries, but once a decade I get a craving and I have to honor that. 😁
I'm sure they were great! It's why I love State Fair. Here's a picture of a Primanti Bros sandwich...ridiculous

That’s an intimidating sandwich. I’d need a chainsaw and a dozen friends.
Kindness works.
It works like a champ!
